Golf Tournaments Hosted at Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club
This spectacular course has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments. Amateur tournaments include: Pacific Coast Amateur, Southwestern Amateur, Sun Country Amateur, Sun Country Four-Ball, and the Rio Rancho City Championship. Chamisa Hills Country Club also held the NFL Celebrity Classic, the Charlie Pride, and the Robin Cole Celebrity Golf Classic. Professional tournaments hosted include: PGA Tour’s Ben Hogan Tour, New Mexico Open, and numerous United States Open qualifiers. PGA tour stars Lee Trevino, Rich Beem, Tim “Lumpy” Herron, Notah Begay, Paul Stankowski, and Kent Jones have walked and played this beautiful course in one of the above mentioned professional tournaments.
